I enjoy going to the Shoprite here. Very well stocked, friendly staff, good looking store. I have a shoprite closer to where l live, but drive the extra seven miles to go to this one...

I have very mixed feelings about this place. I go to the Shop Rite in this plaza. The parking lot is a disaster, good luck finding a spot, especially 3:00pm on a Sunday. I try to go at odd hours, or right before closing. The store itself is huge, stocked, lots of selection, all good things. The isles are tiny, you feel packed in, rushed, frustrated. The meat selection is exceptional. The fruit & vegetables are horrendous. I swear they sell rotting veggies. The Stop & Shop in Hazlet has the opposite thing going on, the fruit & veggies are amazing, but you couldn't pay me to eat the meat from there. So, damned if you do, damned if you don't. I might not be the best person for a grocery store review, I hate food shopping ANYWHERE.
